Poppy seed pods, individually stitched onto canvas. While the vibrant red flowers of the poppy attract wide attention, the capsules often go unnoticed, despite marking maturity, fertility, and the cycles of nature. Through their arrangement, the work reveals the structures, textures, and singularity of these delicate organs, addressing themes of transience, attention, and the relationship between perception and the natural world.
